- Save $$$ -- Receive emails on race discounts which are only for our club members. Check out the schedule page for more info. More and more races will be added when available.
- Camaraderie among people with the same interest of running and staying healthy.
- Finding a buddy to train and run with. Think safety by running with a friend.
- Participate in two club meetings (April and December), Bowling Night, and Club Picnic. More meetings may be added.
- Race results will be posted on website.
- Members who are directing a "new" race, will have their race added to the Four Seasons Series providing it is known before the series is finalized.
- Members using a Garmin device can join the SWVRRC group page where members can see and blog on results. Members will need to request to join.
- Access to the closed group SWVRRC Facebook page for members. A place where you can check if anyone is running a particular race, arranging carpooling, traveling arrangements, etc. The page is set as a closed group so members will feel free to discuss their plans for upcoming races.

Formed in 1978, the Southern West Virginia Road Runners Club is a club for area runners in the surrounding areas of southern West Virginia and Virginia. SWVRRC is a member of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). The Southern West Virginia Road Runners Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
